The Minnesota Music Podcast

Season: 2006

JoAnna James

JoAnna James came over in late March to talk about singing, travelling, performing and taking risks.

Sometimes you’ve got to just dip yourself into new experiences. Because a lot of the time if your environment feels stagnant or sterile, or just too predictable, then–I mean, where are you going to pull from? You can always pull from adventures and books that you read or something, but when they’re your own adventures, it’s a different story and I think they’re going to be more unique. They’re going to be more real because they’re yours.

–JoAnna James talking about finding inspiration.
